Good Foot Records are very proud to announce the release of our very first record, GF CD 0001, Pengilly’s Ode VIII Single. We’ll be celebrating tonight with a fine evening of music from the likes of Orchard Rising, The Vagabond Trills and finishing with Pengilly’s themselves.
Here are some of the great things people have been saying about Ode VIII:
“…it’s so lush and gorgeous and original and fresh and heartfelt that it just blew us away.” Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music Introducing
“This song showcases a band that can play their instruments infinitely more competently than most of us could ever dream of … Ode VIII is an enrapturing phonic experience to both admire and explore.” Russell Warfield, Muso’s Guide
“With all the music that crosses my ears these days it is indeed a rarity to hear such a lovely, richly-produced, seemingly unpretentious song.” apileoflofi.tumblr.com
So, I hear you ask, how can you get hold of Ode VIII? Here are some answers for you:
Finally, you can hear Ode VIII performed live from the band themselves here in Leeds in the Brudenell Social Club, starting at 8pm this evening. Joining them in support will be Orchard Rising and the very lovely Vagabond Trills.
Good Foot Records are proud to bring to you a night of wonderful music as a celebration of their first release, “Ode VIII” by Pengilly’s.
Pengilly’s will be joined by good friends The Vagabond Trills and Orchard Rising at the Brudenell Social Club on Friday the 28th of January at 7pm. Entry is £4, and hot-off-the-press Ode VIII singles are priced at a very reasonable £2.
If you can’t wait until Friday, then you can purchase Ode VIII as a digital download from our online shop. Ode VIII will be available on iTunes, Spotify and all sorts of digital services that we had never even heard of from Friday.
